Indulgence
A Catholic term concerning remission of temporal effects of sins whose guilt has been forgiven.
An indulgence does not replace forgiveness of sin. In Catholic teaching it concerns temporal effects after guilt has already been forgiven and is linked to defined spiritual conditions.
